As a funny addendum to this story, shortly after my visit, Midtown Comics posted on Twitter that actor/comedian Brian Posehn showed up at the store as well that same day!
A post from Posehn's Facebook account then showed up on my feed with this accompanying photo—which suddenly made sense why he partly may have been in town: to see the play, "Glengarry Glen Ross," with his Mr. Show with Bob and David castmate, which we saw Thursday night ourselves!.
